A generous local foundation has pledged matching funds to what we raise through the end of the year—dollar for dollar. Cinema is about enjoying movies together! Since COVID, streaming services have threatened the exhibition industry. The Plaza is a vital center for culture, arts, and education.

The Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), community supported organization. This means there are no shareholders and that all monies are used to fund operations, programming and capital campaigns. The Plaza depends on donations and grants from local, federal and state governments, as well as from individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
